  • MARXIST HEALTH CARE BILL PASSES

Oh no. Oh good Lord, help this country. The new Marxist health care bill–which will add $900 billion in debt* to our children, reduce the number of doctors, cover illegal aliens, force people to switch to government-controlled insurance, raise taxes on the middle class, and allow politicians in Washington to decide our treatments for us instead of deciding for ourselves and instead of doctors deciding–just passed.  May God damn Obama for fucking the Constitution.  Fuck Obama.

[Edit: $1.4 TRILLION will be the debt incurred if the House bill is signed.  $900 billion is the debt from the Senate bill.]

  • kind of depressing, but I guess the only good thing about it is the fact that they avoided public funding of most abortions.

  • btw, can you tell me where in the bill it says that illegal aliens are covered? thanks!

  • Yes, because you truly know the future. People are such drama queens about these things. It’s rather funny to watch em squirm.

  • @greenbird321 -

Actually no, it’s still unclear whether it covers abortion or not. Obama says it doesn’t, and so far, whatever he says, the opposite is true.

And there is nothing in the bill that specifically prohibits illegal immigrants from being covered. A few weeks ago–and, granted, it was a different bill Obama was talking about–Obama said that the bill would not cover illegal immigrants. In a way, he was right: his plan was to grant them amnesty, thereby making them LEGAL, and THEN covering them. He is so slimy. I will let you know when I learn more.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

I know the future? No, it’s in the bill and it’s in the math, moron. The only way it’s POSSIBLE to give EVERYBODY health insurance (even though it’s crappy quality, according to how the bill describes it) is if we add another 900 BILLION dollars to our deficit. Is it drama to state a fact? No. Is it sheep-like to ignore the facts and pretend everything is alright and just do what a radical, Marx-following government says? Yes.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

P.S. If you knew anything about this subject, you wouldn’t think it’s funny. You’re just proving how out-of-touch liberals, and especially Obama worshipers, are with reality.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

yea, I’d like to see facts about the illegal immigration thing(for the record, I am VERY strongly against illegal immigration–I just would rather see proof about whether they’re covered).

anyway, it’s not about what Obama has said about the Hyde Amendment proponents of the bill. I’ve been keeping close tabs on that issue, and it was just yesterday(or today) that the pro-life democrats finally got the House to agree to no public funding of most abortions. so that issue is settled, for now.

  • @greenbird321 -

The last I’ve read about abortion is that the conservatives in Congress have ONE chance to add an amendment to the bill that would specifically prohibit abortion funding. This means that the current bill does not specifically prohibit abortion funding. And I don’t know when that amendment gets voted on. Might be tomorrow. So for now, it’s not settled; it’s still up in the air. I’ll find it for you in the next couple of days whether or not illegals are covered. Obama’s initial bill specifically said that illegals WERE covered, and that they WOULDN’T have to pay taxes on their insurance, and that everybody ELSE would pay the taxes for the illegals’ insurance. How screwed up is he?! Anyway, that was an old bill. But that alone shows you where Obama’s intentions are for this country. Cutting back on our military defense, just as Clinton did….Nevermind, I won’t go into this. I need to sleep.

Except Clinton also sold top secret missile technology to Communist China, who are now building bombs with that technology. Thanks, Bill. Liberals have one god, and it’s money. “Tax the people more so we get paid more! Tax them! Tax some more! Sell whatever technology the US has to any number of enemies, who cares? As long as we get paid a whole lot!”

  • I’m sorry, but even with the math, you can’t foresee the events to come that may alter that debt, there is a tremendous turbulence in world’s economy right now, it could fold like a house of cards or expand beyond imagination.

Oh noes! More debt! Do you even have a clue how tiny that seems relative to the national debt? Even with the national debt at close to 12 trillion it’s only $40,000 per person. Guess what 900 billion is divided up by 307,247,253 people! Just shy of 3 grand a piece.

Call it whatever the hell you want, but if you get to call Obama a marxist I get to call Bush a fascist.

  • and, I just have to ask…are you a “Christian”?

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

honestly, I have to see your sources on ALL of that. I’m very wary of conservatives with unnamed sources, since I’m also a conservative–one who is constantly aware of the necessity of confirmed sources.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

Obama’s policies ARE those of Karl Marx. Bush did absolutely nothing wrong, except he was too easy on illegal immigration and he spent way too much money. But Obama has already done worse in those areas than Bush.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

PS, I just don’t like politics, especially ones making claims of Marxism or Communism, or Fascism or Nazism, it’s bullshit. People are confusing facts with biased personal beliefs, especially when it comes to what the pundits on tv say for both sides. I’m going to laugh at it because of how much of a farce it has become with dramatics like this. Fuck, I don’t even profess to being a certain nationality on here, much less affiliated with one of these backwards political parties. Don’t assume anything of me.

  • @greenbird321 -

You want to see sources on what Clinton did?? That’s a widely known thing. It was a big deal back then. But yeah, I’ll get you sources on it if you want. Send me a private message here on Xanga so that tomorrow I’ll see in my e-mail that I got a message and I’ll remember to source it.

Also, you want the source of what I said about the original bill proposed by Obama covering illegals but not taxing them and letting real U.S. citizens pay the tax? That source was the bill itself. It was posted online (something Pelosi and Reid wouldn’t allow to be done with this new bill because she knew the public would resist it, just as they did before). You could read the entire bill online. I don’t know if that’s still available or not. But I did post a note about it on Facebook, including the links to actual bill (if the links still work), so, again, message me tomorrow and just tell me exactly what you want the source of.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

Yeah, being selective in your topics of interest is like picking and choosing scripture from the bible, you get your message across with extreme bias and miss the rest of the picture.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

no, not Clinton–just the current things that I already know about. I’d like you to copy/paste the bit from the bill about illegal immigrants, thanks.

and, once again I’m curious about whether you call yourself a ‘Christian’.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

I don’t know what you’re referring to. But I’d have to say I disagree; why can’t I be “selective” in what I’m interested in. I’m interested in photography and not ballet. Are you saying that’s wrong of me? Because I prefer one and not the other? I agree that both sides need to be shown in debates, if that’s what you mean. Of course, liberals who wrote this new bill refused to let the public see it this time (which is unconstitutional).

  • @greenbird321 -

Oh, yeah, I’m a Christian. Meaning I believe Jesus was who he said he was and I try my hardest to live by what he taught. And when I inevitably screw up, I feel bad for it, naturally, and I apologize and as forgiveness.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

“May God damn Obama for fucking the Constitution. Fuck Obama.”

well, just for the record(though you acknowledge that you screw up, like all of us, so you may know this), that’s a total misrepresentation of what Jesus was about.

  • @greenbird321 -

You’re right. And maybe one day I will WANT to forgive him. But as of now, he is one of two people I can’t forgive.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

understood, but my point was that when we say things like that, in the moment, we should ask God for forgiveness(and you should delete those words). the Lord says to respect and pray for our leaders, even if we do not agree with their actions. because God is the one who allowed them to come to power. and by posting words like that, you are misrepresenting Christ, and pushing people away from God, and His truth.

and no, I do not support Obama, nor did I vote for him.

  • @greenbird321 -

I pray that God’s will is carried out. I pray that people who oppose and mock the Bible, like Obama, are stopped.

  • What I’m saying is the the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and considerably greater than the few pieces people tend to look at. What’s wrong here is that by making these selections and focusing on them you’re missing a much larger picture, such as the good things that will come of this. That has gone entirely unmentioned thus far, and not because there isn’t a benefit to come of it, but because that would make your arguments seem a lot less valid. You have said a lot of negatives without any specificity as to how, and to me it stinks of sensationalism and bias.

  • @greenbird321 -

Also, keep in mind that God didn’t put Obama in power. The fact that Obama is in power does not mean it was God’s will. WE used OUR free will to put him in power. When we choose something that conflicts with God’s plan, God uses our choice to make things turn out HIS way. So, somehow, God is going to use this atrocity, this Obamination (sorry), to END what Obama has started. We made a bad choice, God will fix it. But God did not put Obama into office, not does he put even the most moral of men in any democratic society into office. It’s us.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

so, you’re saying that God is not omniscient and omnipotent?

God allows even bad things to happen; that’s like…the fundamentals of Christianity. remember Job? God allowed Obama to be voted into office, just as God allows people to die in car accidents, even when it is someone’s free will to drive drunk.

    1 Timothy 2:1-4

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

thus, your words are as much of an abomination unto God as Obama’s actions have been.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

I see what you’re saying now. First of all, the media and the government has lied to use continually about how many people were uninsured. They even changed the numbers drastically during various reports and/or speeches. Also, when they counted the number of uninsured, they were also counting the people who CHOSE not to be insured because they were rich enough to pay out of pocket. That’s misleading, isn’t it? To say, “100 people aren’t insured” when 30 of those people don’t WANT to be insured? (I know that ratio is incorrect, but I’m making a point.) The U.S. has (sorry, HAD) THE BEST health insurance system in the world. Yes, it was flawed, but yes, it was the best available. We didn’t need a 2,000-page bill with all these corrupt things hidden in it. A bill with the necessary corrections to our system could have been written on only several sheets of paper, and it would actually have been affordable. And Republicans wrote several bills like this, and the Democrats all voted NO on them because the bills didn’t allow enough government power in it. In other words, the bills proposed by Republicans were too Constitutional for the Democrats’ approval. As you say, we need to look at the bigger picture, right? So let’s do that:

The hugely vast majority of Americans had great health insurance. There was a very small percentage of Americans who had no insurance at all. According to your way of thinking (and mine), the “big picture” was fine; the majority was fine. But, in keeping with Obama’s Marxist “rob from the hard-working, give to the lazy” policies, the government has now DOWNGRADED the insurance of the vast majority of Americans in order to give those who had NO insurance a greatly FLAWED insurance plan. We destroyed a great system, albeit imperfect, to make everything “fair” and “even”. Just like Guantanamo: he closed down the entire prison because 3 terrorists were waterboarded there. If you have a leaky pipe in the bathroom, do you replace the entire house, or do you just replace the pipes?

The point is, if you really do believe in this “look at the big picture” philosophy, then you would be against this bill because all it did was destroy a nicely painted picture and add in a ton of corruption, which I’ve already given a small list of.

  • @greenbird321 -

What happened was a corrupt society voted for a corrupt man. God allowed it, yes. I don’t deny it. He gave us free will. We abused it (as we always do). Now God will use this to further His plan. That’s what the Bible teaches. What I’m saying did NOT happen is this: God did not PUT Obama in office. He ALLOWED him to be put in office BY US.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

    that’s…what I said.

my POINT is that your words damning and insulting Obama are words that God would NOT be pleased with(according to His word). just sayin’. if you claim to be a Christian, you’re not representing Christ right now.

  • @greenbird321 -

In a way I am because I want His enemies to fail. But I know what you’re saying, I get it. And in my passion, in my outright fury, I can’t get myself to delete that. Not yet, anyway.

Another way to say what I said is, “May he get what he deserves.”

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko -

well, let’s hope you’re not one of those who wishes death upon our President. I hope you’re able to soften your heart and delete those words, knowing that what we say, as Christians, has an effect on the souls of those who are lost.

  • @BecauseIamDonnieDarko - So then the people who were uninsured for reasons such as being denied healthcare, not being able to afford insurance for reasons other than not getting a job.. they should sit to rot and die away? Makes perfect sense.

  • Guantanamo I would say would not be a leaky pipe type place, but rather a crumbling foundation. The dehumanizing environment generated the behaviors there, when you reduce your view of the importance of someone’s life to less than human bad things tend to happen. In Nazi Germany the propaganda used was intended to make people view the Jews as something less than human, thus it would be easier to perform terrible acts to them without feeling the remorse of harming a human being.

Where are these figures coming from that you’re using? How are you certain they’re not biased as well? That’s the issue here, there isn’t reliable information apart from the bill itself, and at 2000+ pages of legalese I’m fairly certain you’ve not actually read more than a few excerpts at best, I certainly haven’t. The system that was was broken, the system that is coming is broken. No new bill will fix either. The health care system needs to be taken apart like an engine and cleaned piece by piece in order to remove the filth that’s making it malfunction. For now though all that can be done is wait and see what happens.

  • AFUCKINGMEN!!!!!!!!!! All Obama does it make the (85%) working people work harder to cover the lazy (15%) people who dont and want something for nothing. He is hurting, not helping. Fuck Obama.

  • @MissRobynRenee -

I could hug you right now.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

As much as the media wants you to believe Guantanamo was a bad place, it wasn’t. Did you know that the terrorists who are there right now want to STAY there instead of going to a maximum-security prison in America? They get ridiculous privileges at Guantanamo. THREE people were waterboarded. THREE (3). That’s it. So, hey, here’s a solution: “Bring those terrorists to America instead of firing the people who waterboarded.” The terrorists are terrified of coming to the prisons here in America and they WANT to stay in Guantanamo. So, no, what the biased media says is not true; America’s prisons are worse than Guantanamo. Besides, we saved lives by waterboarding. We prevented attacks on the Brooklyn bridge and in CA.

  • @UnrevealedTruth_xo -

Anybody can purchase health insurance. 50 bucks a month will get you health insurance. If you can’t find it, you aren’t looking. One thing we could have done to fix our flawed system (but still the best system in the world) was to allow insurance to be purchased across state lines. That would make it cheaper and it wouldn’t limit your choices. But the Dems said no because they wanted so badly to pass this Marxist bill that would give politicians almost unlimited power. Medicare, a government-run program, is the #1 denier of all health care. Obama keeps lying and saying it’s private insurance companies that make a profit that deny the most (oh no, they made a profit, oh no, they did something that they are allowed to do under the constitution, how evil), but the fact is that the government denies the most care. The large majority of America had health insurance. So what this bill does is it takes that insurance away from them and gives it to a small fraction of Americans (but not before reducing its quality). So instead of MOST Americans enjoying GOOD, QUALITY health care, MOST Americans are now FORCED to have SHITTY health care in which you need to have the government’s permission to get treatment. And if you’re old, they won’t treat you because you have nothing to offer society. This is pure evil. THIS makes no sense. Open your eyes, stop being a sheep.

  • No, what that means is they don’t want to be put in a prison full of people who quite possibly hate them enough to kill them, and have previously not had the inhibitions to restrain that instinct. Truth be told though, if you’re for smaller government the close of Guantanamo should be a positive to you. The same torment for information can be performed at any old government installation, and besides, those that have been out of the loop for long enough don’t offer much information of value anymore, they may as well be at an ordinary prison.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

No, Guantanamo has privileges that American prisons don’t. They have told reporters this, they have said they’d rather stay. Not that we should do what they want, but we also shouldn’t close an entire prison because a few guys abused the prisoners by taking risque pictures. And whether they can offer any info ANYMORE is unimportant; they DID give us valuable information which DID allow us to stop two more terrorist attacks. Closing Guantanamo is not only pointless, it’s dangerous. It tells the world, as Obama has already told the world, that we are nice to terrorists and we will treat them with respect.

  • Human rights violations would shut down a normal prison if it had the small volume of prisoners that Guantanamo had. Your argument is eating itself, since you said that “Guantanamo has privileges that American prisons don’t.” Yet by closing it “that we are nice to terrorists and we will treat them with respect.”

When you treat an adversary, even a hated one, without respect like that you’re treating them as less than human. That’s wrong. Over half of the detainees there were released without charge. Now, treating them as less than human only to realize they’re innocent, well, that’s a dick move, regardless of who you are or where you are. You lose the moral high-ground, and act in a manner consistent with your foes, who you hate for doing things just like that. Behold! Hypocrisy!

  • We are so screwed. But wait, it still has to pass the senate. Well the Democraps can kiss the next election goodbye, assuming that there IS a next election. Far too many people were stupid enough to vote for the Democraps just because the liberal media told them too, and now they regret it, but in the meantime those of us who had sense to begin with will have to suffer as well. I wish I was never born.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

Of course you realize that Obama has done nothing to shut down Guantanamo, it’s still there. The Iraq war is still going on, the Afghanistan war is still going on, and in fact he’s also expanded the war into Pakistan, an ally. He’s continued all the objectionable practices from the previous administration plus some additional bad ideas. Everything he does centers around either expanding the tendrils of the government into more facets of society, or undermining US sovereignty. There is absolutely nothing good about Obama.

  • @UnrevealedTruth_xo -

Why not have the government provide everyone with car insurance as well? That way if my engine breaks down because I never change the oil or I get in a wreck because I never change my break pads someone else can take responsibility for it. While we’re at it we can apply that logic to other areas as well. If I lose money gambling the government can reimburse me with some of your money.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

Lol at least he’s a better orator than Bush was. The blame for all of this doesn’t fall squarely upon his shoulders though, there are primarily legislative bodies with their committees and the constituents they represent to blame for this farce. To be perfectly honest, it’s not the united states’ job to police the world even if it is broken.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - You realize those are completely different situations, right? If someone works, and actually tries to make a living for themselves, but can not afford health insurance anyways? They’re shit out of luck? So if they get cancer and can’t afford treatment and end up dying as a result – their fault? I think not.

  • @FearlessMonstrosity -

Better at reading a teleprompter anyways. But one advantage Obama has is he’s got the media on his side. If he makes a blooper they aren’t going to publicize it. I don’t want the US policing the world. For one, it costs me money, also the US economy is going down the tubes because production has been mostly outsourced and now so are the service industries. Production is what generates wealth, so if that goes away but the government keeps taxing and expanding we have a serious problem. As for the military involvement I think it might be fitting to quote Bilbo Baggins, our troops are “thin, like butter spread over too much bread.”

  • @UnrevealedTruth_xo -

The situations are not completely different. Most health problems are life style related, just like many car problems are due to maintenance or the lack thereof. Either way you’re requiring people to pay to rectify the mistakes of others. You don’t understand what it is you are advocating. For starters, where will the government get the money? They will tax people, and people have to pay the taxes regardless of whether or not they want too. It’s theft, and the ends do not always justify the means. Tell me how it’s NOT theft and I’ll take that comment back if you can build a case for your position. Second, you’re wanting to socialize medical coverage for a country where over 65% of the population is overweight. If you eat too much and have a heart attack it’s your own fault for eating too much. Second, you’re talking about socializing/nationalizing/giving the government control of one of the largest private economic sectors. How well does the government run anything? You do realize that the government does a minimalist job with most of the services they provide, which is part of the reason why they are almost always able to undersell competitors from the private sector. Furthermore, there are many provisions of that bill which are dangerous and downright evil. The government will tell you what sort of treatments you can receive and which doctors you can see, and as you get older the types of operations and coverage you receive will become more limited. There is also the mandatory “end of life decision” (how you want to die), unless they have taken that provision out (which I seriously doubt). For a long time the Democrats have been against suppliments and alternative medicine and treatment. When I was 13 I was afflicted with horrible allergies. My nose was continually clogged up 24/7 so that I had to constantly breath through my mouth. The snot was rather viscous like the old “gak splat” stuff that was being marketed when I was in Middle School. I could blow it out sometimes but it will refill in about 10 seconds. In the meantime, the stuff was always trying to ooze down my throat because my sinuses were constantly producing the stuff, so if I didn’t blow my nose continually I had to hack it up. It made me pretty miserable and it also served to keep the female gender at a distance. At any rate, there was nothing that any of the mainstream doctors or treatments could do. It got a little better when I was in my late teens and early 20′s to the point where I could sometimes breath out of one nostril but for the most part it was awful. A few years ago I found a place where I could receive alternative non-mainstream allergy treatments, and, guess what. My allergies are almost completely gone. I can breath through both of my nostrils most of the time, although I still have flair ups during certain times of the year. Mainstream allergy treatments didn’t help me. Most mainstream treatments, for anything, are designed to suppress the symptoms, while leaving the actual problem there so that you will keep giving them your money in order to have relief. The goal of the pharmaceutical companies and their allies is not to cure you, but to keep you coming back for more. If you have a disease you’re a walking gold mine as far as they are concerned. And the Democrats will eliminate the alternative treatments. Some stuff is already illegal, and it’s illegal because it works. They can also require you and your kids to get vaccines. You know there is a strong correlation to Autism and vaccines? Also a strong correlation between SIDS and vaccines. The government doesn’t take over things because they care about people, they take over because they know that control is power. People who care about helping people get involved in missions work, or charities, or red cross. People that want power get into government. You need to stop listening to the rhetoric and propaganda and start reading more and looking at the implications of things.
